We are thankful that the COVID-19 disaster has not completely halted our progress on recent projects, as the state of Connecticut considers construction to be essential labor. This doesn’t, however, mean that we haven’t had to evolve as a team to fit the unique regulations at this time.
Our latest commercial construction, Honey Joe’s Family Coffeehouse in downtown Stamford, is coming together beautifully. Working on this modern yet cozy cafe has been a pleasure so far, from its beautiful wood paneling ceiling accents to its quirky indoor window accents. Etched glass adds a modern contrast alongside rustic features.
As we mentioned, adapting to the Corona Virus crisis is certainly a crucial part of our current projects, Honey Joe’s being no exception. Believe it or not, thanks to the trusty smartphone technology many of us know and love, we were actually able to complete a rough inspection on this project via FaceTime this week! As we work to complete sheet rock installation and mill work this coming week, we will update all of you with more ways we are adapting as a team. You know what they say, if there’s a will, there is a way, and M&M Constructions is more than devoted to making things happen– even during tough times.
