This year, we have done a lot of talking about M&M’s corporate and commercial renovations and new constructions, but the team actually got its start in the residential world. This is what makes M&M Constructions’ residential projects some of the most sought-after homes in the county.
The team entirely reinvented a 1920s bungalow-style home in the renowned Cos Cob, Greenwich neighborhood, located walking distance from Cos Cob Harbor. We felt that the interior and exterior of the home could be updated in a way that reflects the modern and upscale feel of the neighborhood. Thanks to an imaginative team of architects and designers, M&M was able to transform the space into one of luxury and comfort with the degree of speed and professionalism we are known for.
The kitchen’s elegant dual-tones contrast beautifully in the natural light that radiates from a large kitchen window. Sleek light fixtures and cabinet hardware give the kitchen not only a cutting-edge modern look, but also allow for quick future updates. With a classic and timeless cabinet design and countertop, the family home could easily and inexpensively evolve with the times. Of course, high-end appliances integrate seamlessly into this design as well.
Trendy and elegant features like the iron staircase balusters are installed to keep this historic home a competitive contender against even the newest constructions in the area. The basic geometry of these contemporary spindles compliments the other modern features that this project boasts, and also is subtle enough to blend seamlessly with the traditional elements of the home.
We hope you enjoy seeing this incredible reinvention of a historic home as much as we enjoyed crafting it.
